creating your account you may register your account using any name you wish but we would prefer that it is in some way linked to your character's name. once your account has been created and activated, you should change your display name to your character's first, middle and last names in lowercase. each character should be registered on a separate account. you must have an icon of 100x100 pixels on each account and a centered signature no larger than 500x250 pixels is encouraged. these should both feature your face claim. within three days after registration you must have posted an application (this doesn't yet have to be complete) or your account will be deleted. within one week after registration you must have posted a complete application or your account will be deleted. the only conditions on which your account will be saved in this period is if you post in the absences board. advertising your forum you may advertise here but please keep adverts to the allocated boards. adverts posted in the chatbox or in other boards will be deleted. affiliate banners should be exactly 88x31 pixels and they will be resized accordingly if they are not. only members of staff should advertise for this forum. creating your characters with this being a slash site, all characters must be male. as was stated in the first section, all characters should be created on a separate account. while there is currently no limit to the number of characters you may have, please only create as many as you can handle. we encourage you to vary your characters to make things more interesting both for you and for other members. this will also reduce the chance of certain characteristics being banned to balance statistics. perfect characters will not be permitted and neither will abusive backgrounds. playing your character if you would like your character to be killed, seriously injured or otherwise involved in a significant event, you will need to get permission first from an admin. powerplaying and over-the-top drama (that hasn't been authorised as part of a plot) will not be accepted and unless amendments are made, the post/s will be deleted. scenes of a sexual nature are forbidden by the proboards terms of services and so such scenes should not take place within threads. all posts should be at least two hundred words long and should be written in the third person and past tense e.g. she sat down. correct grammar, spelling and punctuation is encouraged at all times. respecting other members no member of this forum is exempt from the rules. you will respect all other members and any incidences of bullying or discrimination will not be tolerated. an immediate ban will be placed and staff will then decide how long this ban will be in place for based on how serious the incident is. if you witness a rule break, please notify a member of staff rather than trying to deal with it yourself.
