For some reason, people seem to forget that you can't just freeze all your problems away.
That completely made up life lesson hit the Titans hard after their return from Tokyo. Scheduled to be shipped out to various detention centers, the security forces escorting the flash-frozen Brotherhood and other assorted villains were systematically taken out by groups of Slade's robotic drones, before disappearing into thin air with their targets. It was a reminder from Slade that his goals remained unchanged, and the message didn't go unheeded.
There are new problems on the horizon as well; a mysterious illness is working it's way across the continental states, and despite a large number of affected patients, everyone is still in the dark about almost every aspect of it. How does it spread? Where did it come from? And why are super-powered individuals finding their abilities affected by it?
Some of the infected claim that, in their delirium, they saw a vision: a tall, lanky man in black leather, hunched over them with various medical implements in hand. They also remember a name. "Pazuzu".
There's also been an increase in the number of super-powered individuals arriving in Jump. All these things have the Titans on edge; they can't help but feel that these things are connected somehow. If their assumptions are correct, though, then what is the goal? And what if they're missing some of the clues?
