The play-bys of these requested characters are quite flexible so feel free to throw some alternatives at me if you'd rather use somebody else. The names are up to you and I'm happy to discuss the plots in order to work out exactly what will happen or tweak it with improvements.

house up to you. sixth/seventh year. alex pettyfer.
'Alex' has got an eye for Andrew but as he's spotted some growing affection between Andrew and his friend, he knows he needs to intervene and stop them ending up together. He makes a move on Andrew's friend and then tells Andrew that he saw his friend with someone else. Alex somehow manages to persuade Andrew to get with him in order to make the friend jealous. This would then make Andy wonder if he stills wants his friend or if he'd prefer 'Alex'. 'Alex' would also start wonder if he's interested in 'Josh' too, perhaps trying to make another move in order to get an idea before deciding which of the two he wants to go for or if he'd like to try and balance them both at once.
other play-by ideas: aaron johnson, ed speleers, francisco lachowski, jeremy sumpter, lucas till, mitch hewer, penn badgley, robert pattinson, tom felton or zac efron.

house up to you. sixth year. josh hutcherson.
'Josh' is one of Andrew's acquaintances. The two of them are friends but not super close. They start to see the appeal in one another and there's some innocent flirting, although Andrew is rather bad at this. This would develop into something a little stronger, perhaps with a kiss and a fumble thrown in somewhere for good measure. At some point, 'Alex' would become aware of their potential relationship and decides to intervene so as to get Andrew for himself. He persuades 'Josh' to kiss him or something (alcohol, polyjuice potion, whatever - how he does so is up to you) and then runs off to Andrew to tell him he saw 'Josh' with somebody else. When Andy is then persuaded into doing something to make 'Josh' jealous, 'Josh' may find out and then reject any advances from either Andy or 'Alex'.
other play-by ideas: aaron johnson, alexander ludwig, jeremy sumpter, lucas till, mitch hewer, robert pattinson or tom felton.
